How to disable Internet Explorer

Its not possible to uninstall IE from Windows, so the next best thing is to disable it. But first make sure you have an alternative better browser, like Firefox, or Google Chrome.
Here is how to disable IE in Windows 7, or Windows Vista:

1. Click: Start > Default Programs > "Set program access and computer defaults".
2. Click the little circle next to "Custom".
3. in front of 'Internet Explorer', click to remove the tick next to "Enable access to this program".
4. Click: OK.

This should keep you safe from a multitude of malware, spyware and adware that could infect your system through the open door of IE.
